SPS Scholarships & Awards Available

The Society of Physics Students offers a wide variety of scholarships supporting everything from research oriented students to hopeful teachers! At the National Council Meeting earlier this fall, SPS leaders were wondering, "Why don't more students apply for these scholarhips?"...

Your odds of getting a scholarhip are quite high for this reason, and it's completely worth it to check out their webpage.

Scholarships/awards include:

• SPS Leadership Scholarships ($2000 - $5000 per year)

• Herbert Levy Memorial Scholarship ($2000 per year)

• SPS Future Teacher Scholarship ($2000 per year)

• Peggy Dixon Two-Year Scholarship ($2000 per year)

• Kirsten R. Lorentzen Award ($2000 per year)

If you are interested in some extra monentary support for your research or other physics-related goals, hurry up and apply because applications are due by February 17!
